2002 or Bust

We're going back in time for a moment and then on to the present. I have a love for the face from the 2002 doll. I just know this face has been enlarged and used for the Desiree from the Fashion Fever line and also in the current playline. I have a few examples of this doll starting with my 1st. I have 10 of these ladies who I love. All these ladies have been rebodied and in some cases renamed. I will keep covering the ladies in my vast collection

    They had on different outfits. They released the one with the kitchen (present) and then the single boxed version. I have pics of them let me post them :O)

    Thanks for posting the Grandma pics! The single version's hair looks thicker. I removed some of the wrinkles on the face of my Grandma doll. They seem to be too much.

  Hello. How are you all doing? It's been some time, but I felt the need to pop in. No promises that this will last but then anything is possible. I'm still an active doll collector. I thought I would start this blog again with what my intentions were for it from the start. I want to do a true inventory of my dolls. I just need to decide who goes first. Decisions will be made. Off With Their Heads...

This post is to highlight those ladies in my collection who are searching for bodies. I am always on the lookout for articulated bodies. I need movement these days for anyone to stay. If I really love a doll I will behead her/him and the quest will begin. It's always great when a new lady (and at times gents) find a new body. This is the limbo they sit in until their grail is found I'm not sure which site I got the idea to use a thread spool rack for heads but it's awesome. I picked this one up on sale from Wally World's site to store sale. I think it holds 120. I also have a smaller one that holds 33. That one is for heads I decide can leave the island. Here are some closeups of who's on the rack for the moment. Yes that is Declan's head on the top. I do have his body but have been lazy in putting him right LOL I'll try to remember a post about the luck winners of the body lottery. There have been some winners lately :O)

Mass Blogger Interview Answers For Ms Leo

I decided to answer Ms. Leo interview questions from   I Luv Dolls . Give it a try I'm interested in your answers too When did you start collecting dolls? Oddly enough I didn't start collecting dolls until my late 20's. My brothers had action figures (Star Wars, GI Joe). What was your first purchase as a collector ? My 1st purchase was Kelly Barbie's littlest sister in her crib. I guess we can say I loved the littlest one (at the time) first. How many dolls do you own? Really not sure at this point but figure I have over 300 Kelly & friends. My Fashion Royalty collection is about 130 - 150 at this point (I haven't inventoried lately). I'm pretty sure Barbie & friends is about 350 or more (remember haven't inventoried in a while). This is just a guesstimate so I will say about 800 including all lines but I may be exaggerating since I've also been selling stuff for a few years now..LOL What is your favorite doll and why?
