I was talked into going to Englishtown (flea market) and boy am I glad I went. I wasn't enthusiastic at first since we were leaving after noon which means all the good stuff is usually gone. I didn't take a ton of money but for about $20 I found some goodies I'm proud of. My 1st find of the day I picked up the Sophie & two NFL Jerseys for $3. I love LIV bodies for body swaps. Those jerseys will come in handy for either the ladies or a couple of guys. Next find I up 3 dolls and 2 books (not pictured) for $6. Not sure which Christie's or Teresa this is. Teresa must be a ballerina (note the purple colored plastic legs). The Christie's are pretty. They came dressed as you see them. Teresa is having a slight wardrobe malfunction. The last find of the day I was uber happy because I spotted the Princess of Ancient Mexico for $4. She doesn't have her headdress, necklace, or armlets but hey for $4 I'm still happy. I've wanted her for quite

ReplyDeleteAwww, the water is so soothing. The picture has temporarily disappeared from the page but from what I saw, they were beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBeing a water person, I love it. It make you want to set back, relax and enjoy.
ReplyDeleteWeird I guess it may be blogspot. Does anyone else not see the picture? On my browser at home the picture is fine. I need to try it from work
ReplyDeleteThank you for the compliments. I may use these ladies as a start to my introductions for the new year
As a diver, crystal blue water is a natural attractant. So yes, i love your background.
ReplyDeleteBut as a blog owner/designer. I know that the "Picture Window" template is extremely complex, and doesn't always work like it should. This is Not to say that you should change templates. Just that some of your visitors may need to "Reload / Refresh" the page several times before it will complete itself.
@Vanessa try clearing your cache, and completely reloading by using a link from your bookmarks, or from another site.
Another little known fact, is that, especially in America. A Lot of people are still on "Dial-up". Myself included. Which means, it takes an extremely long time for these type of pages to load. Add to that, your background image at 239kb, your header image at 172kb, and a bunch of high-resolution pictures you want me to see (typically 100kb+ each). So that with my 52kbs modem, I can click a link to come to your page, and then go fix a cup of coffee, feed the dog, and start breakfast, before I come back and check on it.
Oh I would Love High Speed, you understand. But ATT says they just can't reach me, and I can't afford to buy cable or satellite. At any rate, your page looks great! And was well worth the wait. :)

Thanks Ken. I will try clearing my cache. Goodness, I can't imagine being on dial up, that must be painful. Even at 4G, I want to go faster. Here's to hoping you get faster internet connection in 2012. I just convinced one of my followers that it was time to switch and she did weeks later.
ReplyDeleteKen, I thank you for waiting for the page to load and taking the time to comment :O) Dial up oh boy do I remember those days. I hope that someone gets to your area so you get high speed ASAP
ReplyDelete@DollzMoi - Think nothing of it. I will usually play some solitaire, or pay the bills while waiting on a page to load. ...ok, so I don't/can't pay the bills. But I do look at them. ;)
ReplyDelete~ Ken
BTW: I noted also your "Sale Page". Did you know that you can advertise your "Barbie related" listings on my site (Barbies4Sale) via email for free. Simply copy and paste the description you are using in your listing into your email, 2. Add a link to the listing, 3. "attach" a picture of your item, and then click "Send".
For a more complete explanation, and even an illustration of an example email, please read;
"How To Post My Barbie Dolls For Sale!"
Of course, I can't make any promises as to how much traffic you might receive from your post. But then, all it takes is one. Right?
