I will be updating this weekend. I've been busy with real life for a couple of weeks. I will share some new goodies and in some cases some old goodies by now..LOL I will also throw in some party pics from our doll club meeting. We had some fun putting it all together. Until then..ciao :O)

I'm so happy I can't stand it. Back in May I found out that Sideshow Collectibles was selling the Hot Toys version of Nick Fury from The Avengers. I had to get him..had to. Come on it's a awesome version of Samuel L. Jackson. He came in stock on July 25th and my order was processed and sent out on the 30th. He was waiting for me when I got home tonight. He is AWESOME!! Just check his pictures out... Box Top Front of Box He comes with 6 sets of hands and there is so much more. I haven't set him free yet. He needs his own setup and area. There is already a stir with my ladies.  I do have another Samuel here but this one is making him look not so great.  

Not clothes for me of course ;O) The dolls are all that matters when shopping. I found these new Bratz outfits at Target months ago in April. I put them away under the guise of knowing where they were when I wanted them..see how that worked for me..LOL. Anyone who's my flickr contact/friend has seen these shots. The Summer Party sundress I picked up on ebay from a friend on the cheap. This is the only fashion I couldn't find in the stores. I have yet to see them anywhere since then Just Hangin Out Picnic at the Park Polka Dot Pretty  And here are the ladies modeling. Like the title say Candi was my world for a moment (cue New Edition). This entry came about as a request from Dana of Philly Collector fame.  I think I saw these ladies in another collectors pictures on one of my doll boards. I had to ask the question and so it began. Candi was a quick detour in my collecting.   My sister-in-law Denise had a couple and I fell more in love. She eventually gave me a couple of hers. I started buying them from Paul David's (huge doll seller). I loved the work of Mikelman on these dolls and fashions. I know the dolls were 1st introduced from Helena Hamilton but Integrity & Mikelman were who I know them from.  I don't remember which was my first but here some of my faves of my collection. I went food shopping tonight so I went to Walmart and found the Create-a-Monster Sea Monster/Vampire dolls with the double torso. I've been after this set since I fell in love with the Sea Monster. The original sets came with one torso and it was pink O_o.  I held off on this set for that very reason. Once I found out the double torso sets were out I started looking. I have no love for Vampira's face so she will be on her way out the door.  I also picked up the 1st Abbey Abominable. So call me slow but she wasn't a fave of mine. She kind of grew on me. I was no fan of Skull Shores or the newest giftset (comes with 2 or 3 fashions) Abbey. I will have to redress her as her outfit does nothing for me..although her boots are awesome. I will have to play around with her a bit to see if she will stay on the island as it were. I'm not a fan of all the MH dolls released (my wallet is happy). Most of the dolls disappoint me in person.  So after all the hoopla over...

I was talked into going to Englishtown (flea market) and boy am I glad I went. I wasn't enthusiastic at first since we were leaving  after noon which means all the good stuff is usually gone. I didn't take a ton of money but for about $20 I found some goodies I'm proud of.  My 1st find of the day I picked up the Sophie & two NFL Jerseys for $3. I love LIV bodies for body swaps. Those jerseys will come in handy for either the ladies or a couple of guys. Next find I up 3 dolls and 2 books (not pictured) for $6. Not sure which Christie's or Teresa this is. Teresa must be a ballerina (note the purple colored plastic legs). The Christie's are pretty. They came dressed as you see them. Teresa is having a slight wardrobe malfunction. The last find of the day I was uber happy because I spotted the Princess of Ancient Mexico for $4. She doesn't have her headdress,  necklace, or armlets but hey for $4 I'm still happy. I decided to answer Ms. Leo interview questions from   I Luv Dolls . Give it a try I'm interested in your answers too When did you start collecting dolls? Oddly enough I didn't start collecting dolls until my late 20's. My brothers had action figures (Star Wars, GI Joe). What was your first purchase as a collector ? My 1st purchase was Kelly Barbie's littlest sister in her crib. I guess we can say I loved the littlest one (at the time) first. How many dolls do you own? Really not sure at this point but figure I have over 300 Kelly & friends. My Fashion Royalty collection is about 130 - 150 at this point (I haven't inventoried lately). I'm pretty sure Barbie & friends is about 350 or more (remember haven't inventoried in a while). This is just a guesstimate so I will say about 800 including all lines but I may be exaggerating since I've also been selling stuff for a few years now..LOL What is your favorite doll and why?
