Okay So I Went There..Sort Of

I went food shopping tonight so I went to Walmart and found the Create-a-Monster Sea Monster/Vampire dolls with the double torso. I've been after this set since I fell in love with the Sea Monster. The original sets came with one torso and it was pink O_o.  I held off on this set for that very reason. Once I found out the double torso sets were out I started looking. I have no love for Vampira's face so she will be on her way out the door. 


I also picked up the 1st Abbey Abominable. So call me slow but she wasn't a fave of mine. She kind of grew on me. I was no fan of Skull Shores or the newest giftset (comes with 2 or 3 fashions) Abbey. I will have to redress her as her outfit does nothing for me..although her boots are awesome. I will have to play around with her a bit to see if she will stay on the island as it were. I'm not a fan of all the MH dolls released (my wallet is happy). Most of the dolls disappoint me in person.

 So after all the hoopla over Bratzilla's I bought one. Yes I bought one. OK so I went there. I had to go to TRU because I had a coupon that was going to expire. After looking through a lot of new stuff I decided I like the purple haired Yasmina Clairvoya most.


Thankfully she's the only one I really like in person (my wallet thanks me too). I looked through them all and she was THE ONE. I didn't like elements of the others. I will wait for a sale before I buy another and hope I have another coupon or two then. I think Sashabella and the others will be good for some body swapping :O)

    Haven't seen the Bratzilla's in person yet. Will probably go to TRU's on Monday, since I have to go to the bank to deposit my check. Did get a Create A Monster Kit. Will probably get another and then will create my own.l

      Frannie they were hidden with the other Bratz dolls in my case. I'm looking for that Ghost Girl CAM, I saw the Puma (boy) & the 3 Eyed Girl and a couple of others.

      You have never lied. I swear this one just appeared. I looked at Sasha & 2 others. I walked away and found some Winx dolls, went for Moxie Teenz and when I walked by the Bratz section again there she was. I wasn't even phased by those La Dee Da dolls..LOL. But that purple hair compelled me :O)

      That's my master plan but I'm not loving the fact that their lower legs aren't sturdy enough to stand w/o the stand like Muff says. I may stick with the Party Bratz body

Flea Market Fun

I was talked into going to Englishtown (flea market) and boy am I glad I went. I wasn't enthusiastic at first since we were leaving  after noon which means all the good stuff is usually gone. I didn't take a ton of money but for about $20 I found some goodies I'm proud of.  My 1st find of the day I picked up the Sophie & two NFL Jerseys for $3. I love LIV bodies for body swaps. Those jerseys will come in handy for either the ladies or a couple of guys. Next find I up 3 dolls and 2 books (not pictured) for $6. Not sure which Christie's or Teresa this is. I decided to answer Ms. Leo interview questions from   I Luv Dolls . Give it a try I'm interested in your answers too When did you start collecting dolls? Oddly enough I didn't start collecting dolls until my late 20's. My brothers had action figures (Star Wars, GI Joe). What was your first purchase as a collector ? My 1st purchase was Kelly Barbie's littlest sister in her crib. I guess we can say I loved the littlest one (at the time) first. How many dolls do you own? Really not sure at this point but figure I have over 300 Kelly & friends. My Fashion Royalty collection is about 130 - 150 at this point (I haven't inventoried lately). Creatable World Takeover

Has anyone noticed that Mattel's Creatable World has taken over? Well, I certainly have. So much so that I now own five of their deluxe packages that includes a doll.  They now have single doll packs, deluxe clothing packs, single clothing packs, and wigs too. The deluxe clothing packs have variations from the deluxe packages that includes a doll.  The eight deluxe doll sets Single clothing packs  Deluxe clothes pack  Deluxe clothing pack  Deluxe clothing pack  They have been spotted at Target so far. They may be at Wal-Mart too. I'm not sure.  Have you been seduced by Creatable World?
