Florida or Bust!!

It's that time of year again. The countdown is on for my 2nd Fashion Royalty Convention. This years theme is Tropicalia and I haven't really made an preparations except for airline & hotel. I have to shop for at least a dress or something..LOL. I will try to post a couple of times before then but if I don't you know why. 

This year I made a list of stuff I'm looking for. I'm focused and I will share my list after convention. It's like playing Poker, you never show your hand. I'm also working on my travel doll(s). Not sure if I want 1 or 2 dolls this time around. I know who my 1st doll is but not sure of the other. 

I hope to see a few friends and make some more friends while there. I don't remember what my table number is but I will post it. If you're going drop by and say hello :O)

    I am definitely going to want to see these photos since they were all sold out by the time I knew about it. But I'm not jealous... nope, not a all. Hrmph.

    Congratulations on going! Thanks for taking LOTS of photos so that your doll pals online can savor your experience vicariously. I am sure that you really want to take LOTS of photos. No need for me to natter on about it. You will have fun in your new gown or in new sneakers.

    You are a generous woman to be taking LOTS of photos. (Third time set a geas on you? Fingers crossed, lol.)

    Hello from Spain: I envy! I never went to a convention of dolls. I'm sure it's very interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing your photos of the convention. . We keep in touch.

Flea Market Fun

I was talked into going to Englishtown (flea market) and boy am I glad I went. I wasn't enthusiastic at first since we were leaving  after noon which means all the good stuff is usually gone. I didn't take a ton of money but for about $20 I found some goodies I'm proud of.  My 1st find of the day I picked up the Sophie & two NFL Jerseys for $3. I love LIV bodies for body swaps. Those jerseys will come in handy for either the ladies or a couple of guys. Next find I up 3 dolls and 2 books (not pictured) for $6. Not sure which Christie's or Teresa this is. Teresa must be a ballerina (note the purple colored plastic legs). The Christie's are pretty. They came dressed as you see them. Teresa is having a slight wardrobe malfunction. Mass Blogger Interview Answers For Ms Leo

I decided to answer Ms. Leo interview questions from   I Luv Dolls . Give it a try I'm interested in your answers too When did you start collecting dolls? Oddly enough I didn't start collecting dolls until my late 20's. My brothers had action figures (Star Wars, GI Joe). What was your first purchase as a collector ? My 1st purchase was Kelly Barbie's littlest sister in her crib. I guess we can say I loved the littlest one (at the time) first. How many dolls do you own? Really not sure at this point but figure I have over 300 Kelly & friends. My Fashion Royalty collection is about 130 - 150 at this point (I haven't inventoried lately). I'm pretty sure Barbie & friends is about 350 or more (remember haven't inventoried in a while). Creatable World Takeover

Has anyone noticed that Mattel's Creatable World has taken over? Well, I certainly have. So much so that I now own five of their deluxe packages that includes a doll.  They now have single doll packs, deluxe clothing packs, single clothing packs, and wigs too. The deluxe clothing packs have variations from the deluxe packages that includes a doll.  The eight deluxe doll sets Single clothing packs  Deluxe clothes pack  Deluxe clothing pack  Deluxe clothing pack  They have been spotted at Target so far. They may be at Wal-Mart too. I'm not sure.  Have you been seduced by Creatable World?
