Incoming & Out The Door...

Oh well my plan to bring just 40 dolls in this year is blown..LOL. I didn't attend the 2015 Cinematic Fashion Royalty convention but I feel like I did. Someone who was keeping track says there were 37 dolls this time out. Now I didn't even get close to 37 (you thought I did, didn't you). I picked up a few dolls from the convention but not as many as if I had attended.

 I managed to get all 4 Poppy's but have let go of 3. My criteria for who gets to stay is getting tougher. You have to beat out the ladies I have here. I loved Paper Poppy but she just didn't make the cut. I loved Go See just a bit more

 There is more but it must be done. I can't keep everyone as much as I would like to. My absolute favorites and loves are who get to stay. I am getting better at choosing. I wish I had seen some of the dolls in person but I don't regret any that I did get. There are quite a few ladies who didn't get to stay.  I will post more as the year progresses

 P.S. I've been holding this in draft for a couple of weeks but it's still relevant ;O)

    Haha! Your haul looks like mine although most of mine arrived in 2015, so I am still safe for now for 2016. I am hoping to go to the FR convention this year, so we will see what kind of resolve I am able to hold on to then!

      Phyllis, all of that is from 2015. I'm just really starting to go through it. I've sold some that I had 2nd thoughts on. I'm holding strong for 2016 so far. Fingers crossed that it stays that way

      It is in some cases but it's getting easier to let go and let it stay gone. I'm keeping to not selling or donating anything that I will want back :O)

    I understand your dilemma! I am going to allow myself to buy one or two 16" and/or BJD doll this year. So, I will have to be verrry selective also!

    You have a very nice haul considering that you did not attend the convention. Lol! Are you planning on attending Chicago? Many blessings on choosing who to let go. I have done nothing with the dolls that I got from convention. Some are definitely going. I have to go int the container and choose who to let go.

Flea Market Fun

I was talked into going to Englishtown (flea market) and boy am I glad I went. I wasn't enthusiastic at first since we were leaving  after noon which means all the good stuff is usually gone. I didn't take a ton of money but for about $20 I found some goodies I'm proud of.  My 1st find of the day I picked up the Sophie & two NFL Jerseys for $3. I love LIV bodies for body swaps. Those jerseys will come in handy for either the ladies or a couple of guys. Next find I up 3 dolls and 2 books (not pictured) for $6. Not sure which Christie's or Teresa this is. Teresa must be a ballerina (note the purple colored plastic legs). The Christie's are pretty. They came dressed as you see them. Teresa is having a slight wardrobe malfunction. Slow and Steady...You Know The Rest

I had a busy day. I went to my monthly doll club meeting and I picked up my IFDC goodies. Thank God for friends who can get you things for retail..LOL.  I also have the pictures of the couple of new LIV accessory sets I saw at TRU. I thought I had more pics but I guess these were all I found that were new.     I have more goodies that have come in. I will be posting once I get the pictures together tomorrow...hehehe Got you all hooked and waiting to see ;O)

PoppyPalooza

I was on the Facebook ( inside joke ) LOL and I thought about how I came to finally love Poppy Parker. I have tried since Poppy Parker first debuted 5 years ago. I remember when I first saw her. I wasn't impressed. Now before I get a bunch of backlash over that this is my story so there. I honestly didn't like the first couple of years of Poppy. I liked some of the clothing but I still didn't jump on the bandwagon. If I'm being honest Poppy always tends to be first on my to go pile.  Let's fast forward to 2013/4 and the Poppypalooza love fest began.  I was sorting through my collection and found my In The Air Poppy from the 2011 FR Convention.    My first impression after seeing her again after so long was she's beautiful and she needs a change.
