Shipping Woes

Here we go again..sigh. I sent a package through our lovely postal service last month on the 15th to France. Last Saturday I get an email from my buyer to tell me he hasn't received said package yet. I did everything I was supposed to do. Buyer paid, I printed the label and sent it out. Package was handed over to a postal employee at my local post office. The package has yet to be scanned in anywhere -_- . I so need a break here. I have a statement from the postal employee and I have the receipt from the label I printed up on ebay.

I have contacted eBay, PayPal, and the postal customs unit. I'm praying for a miracle and hoping that everything I have will cover my a$$ because I don't want a charge back. The buyer didn't purchase insurance either so you see where I'm going with this right..oy vey. I know for next time to ship use Fedex.

    I had a similar problem with a package I sent to Germany. eBay did the charge-back thing - ouch! The package was eventually received. Bad thing was that I only received back PART of my refund, not the full refund. Guess who is not using eBay any time soon ;-P

I was talked into going to Englishtown (flea market) and boy am I glad I went. I wasn't enthusiastic at first since we were leaving  after noon which means all the good stuff is usually gone. I didn't take a ton of money but for about $20 I found some goodies I'm proud of.  My 1st find of the day I picked up the Sophie & two NFL Jerseys for $3. I love LIV bodies for body swaps. Those jerseys will come in handy for either the ladies or a couple of guys. Next find I up 3 dolls and 2 books (not pictured) for $6. Not sure which Christie's or Teresa this is. I decided to answer Ms. Leo interview questions from   I Luv Dolls . Give it a try I'm interested in your answers too When did you start collecting dolls? Oddly enough I didn't start collecting dolls until my late 20's. My brothers had action figures (Star Wars, GI Joe). What was your first purchase as a collector ? My 1st purchase was Kelly Barbie's littlest sister in her crib. I guess we can say I loved the littlest one (at the time) first. How many dolls do you own? Really not sure at this point but figure I have over 300 Kelly & friends. My Fashion Royalty collection is about 130 - 150 at this point (I haven't inventoried lately). I'm pretty sure Barbie & friends is about 350 or more (remember haven't inventoried in a while). Creatable World Takeover

Has anyone noticed that Mattel's Creatable World has taken over? Well, I certainly have. So much so that I now own five of their deluxe packages that includes a doll.  They now have single doll packs, deluxe clothing packs, single clothing packs, and wigs too. The deluxe clothing packs have variations from the deluxe packages that includes a doll.  The eight deluxe doll sets Single clothing packs  Deluxe clothes pack  Deluxe clothing pack  Deluxe clothing pack  They have been spotted at Target so far. They may be at Wal-Mart too. I'm not sure.  Have you been seduced by Creatable World?
