We Interrupt This Day With A New Post

Hello everyone. The clearing out is still ongoing. I've been listing items on ebay since I have time. I'm out on strike so on my down days I sell. I'd rather be working but hey...

Not new news to some but there are new Barbie's out there. The Fashionistas now come with Petite, Curvy, & Tall bodies. My wishlist included a couple. I looked over the ladies long and hard but decided on four. My wonderful man bought me the ladies on my list to lift my spirits. This had the desired effect he was going for. These are the 4 ladies I decided I wanted with the new bodies.

 They are from left to right: Spring Into Style, Dolled Up Denim, Fab Fringe, & Terrific Teal.
 

My favorite is the curly redheaded beauty. Imagine my surprise when I realized she really doesn't match her body. 


The hunt is on for a new body. I know the MTM (made to move) seems to work but I'm not sure if that's the body I want for her. I chose two for their uniqueness.

I love Spring & Teal's faces in these versions. I know Teal will need a new body too. I would love to keep the original body. I wish Mattel would've given them legs that had bending ability. I'm going to experiment with Curvy the Goddess face one. That one bent arm is annoying to me, lol.

    Lucky you. Of these four, only Teal is available in Australia as yet. The only Curvy doll available is the blonde one. She's cute but I prefer the two you have. Oh well, there's always the internet.

      Yeah the blonde was cute but not for me. These 2 curvy ladies fit my criteria. Hopefully you'll get them soon or Amazon ships down under :O)

    I love the red head. I think I will have to break down and buy her. We really don't need another resident running loose around here, but she may push her way in.

    Congrats on your new dolls!

    I have 3 of these: the 2 Curvy gals and the titian gal in teal. This line is as exciting as the Fashion Fever dolls a few years ago.

    Wish you luck with the downsizing and the doll sales. Love your new banner photo!

I was talked into going to Englishtown (flea market) and boy am I glad I went. I wasn't enthusiastic at first since we were leaving  after noon which means all the good stuff is usually gone. I didn't take a ton of money but for about $20 I found some goodies I'm proud of.  My 1st find of the day I picked up the Sophie & two NFL Jerseys for $3. I love LIV bodies for body swaps. Those jerseys will come in handy for either the ladies or a couple of guys. Next find I up 3 dolls and 2 books (not pictured) for $6. Not sure which Christie's or Teresa this is. Mass Blogger Interview Answers For Ms Leo

I decided to answer Ms. Leo interview questions from   I Luv Dolls . Give it a try I'm interested in your answers too When did you start collecting dolls? Oddly enough I didn't start collecting dolls until my late 20's. My brothers had action figures (Star Wars, GI Joe). What was your first purchase as a collector ? My 1st purchase was Kelly Barbie's littlest sister in her crib. I guess we can say I loved the littlest one (at the time) first. How many dolls do you own? Really not sure at this point but figure I have over 300 Kelly & friends. My Fashion Royalty collection is about 130 - 150 at this point (I haven't inventoried lately). I'm pretty sure Barbie & friends is about 350 or more (remember haven't inventoried in a while). Creatable World Takeover

Has anyone noticed that Mattel's Creatable World has taken over? Well, I certainly have. So much so that I now own five of their deluxe packages that includes a doll.  They now have single doll packs, deluxe clothing packs, single clothing packs, and wigs too. The deluxe clothing packs have variations from the deluxe packages that includes a doll.  The eight deluxe doll sets Single clothing packs  Deluxe clothes pack  Deluxe clothing pack  Deluxe clothing pack  They have been spotted at Target so far. They may be at Wal-Mart too. I'm not sure.  Have you been seduced by Creatable World?
