Finding "Lost" Love Again

If you've been following my boring blog , LOL, you know I've been working on clearing out my clutter. In the midst of all this clearing & selling I've been finding things I have been searching for. It's so much fun finding lost loves. 

Case in point: I have a love hate relationship with Skin Is In Kyori. I loved her when I bought her originally from my dealer but a few years later when Living Dangerously Kyori came along Skin was on my sell list. Imagine my surprise when I started having a longing for Skin. I've been checking ebay for them constantly for a decent price.  I was shocked further when today I discovered Sin (her new name) in a container I haven't thought about in quite some time.

Sin will be getting an upgrade since her original body has yellowed. I'm in love with her and I didn't have to buy another!!   My story doesn't end with Sin. She wasn't alone in the container. 





In one instant I found some of my ladies I knew I owned. I know Jordan's hands are missing now I have to find those LOL. Check your unopened storage boxes & containers to see what "loves" you'll find :O)

 FYI yellowing is a common problem with older Fashion Royalty dolls. There must be a problem with the formula for the vinyl used back then. I have rebodied quite a few of my ladies with this issue. If you buy some of the older FR's you may encounter this issue so be prepared.

Flea Market Fun

I was talked into going to Englishtown (flea market) and boy am I glad I went. I wasn't enthusiastic at first since we were leaving  after noon which means all the good stuff is usually gone. I didn't take a ton of money but for about $20 I found some goodies I'm proud of.  My 1st find of the day I picked up the Sophie & two NFL Jerseys for $3. I love LIV bodies for body swaps. Mass Blogger Interview Answers For Ms Leo

I decided to answer Ms. Leo interview questions from   I Luv Dolls . Give it a try I'm interested in your answers too When did you start collecting dolls? Oddly enough I didn't start collecting dolls until my late 20's. My brothers had action figures (Star Wars, GI Joe). What was your first purchase as a collector ? My 1st purchase was Kelly Barbie's littlest sister in her crib. I guess we can say I loved the littlest one (at the time) first. How many dolls do you own? Really not sure at this point but figure I have over 300 Kelly & friends. My Fashion Royalty collection is about 130 - 150 at this point (I haven't inventoried lately). Creatable World Takeover

Has anyone noticed that Mattel's Creatable World has taken over? Well, I certainly have. So much so that I now own five of their deluxe packages that includes a doll.  They now have single doll packs, deluxe clothing packs, single clothing packs, and wigs too. The deluxe clothing packs have variations from the deluxe packages that includes a doll.  The eight deluxe doll sets Single clothing packs  Deluxe clothes pack  Deluxe clothing pack  Deluxe clothing pack  They have been spotted at Target so far. They may be at Wal-Mart too. I'm not sure.  Have you been seduced by Creatable World?
