The First Lady of 2013

She has arrived and was well worth the wait. I'm so glad I had some extra money for the deal she was :O) My 1st lady of 2013..IFDC Exclusive Shake It Up Korinne!!


 The coloring of this lady is exquisite. I love her. This one I must blame on one of my very good friends Marti. His photos of this beauty made me crave her.  I love that she appears to have a BOD (Brides of Dracula) body. Excuse the cleavage but the lady is HOT!!  

She already has an ego since she feels she's numero uno but Adele has something to say about that. I mean the very 1st Adele. She's #1 and has been for years. She might have to flex her muscles with this one..LOL
 
This lady will be seen a lot along with a few others. I plan to photograph my dolls more. They have been neglected long enough. I feel some joy coming back. Stay tuned

    First, I want to say how incredibly lovely she is! The rest of this years purchases are going to have to really step up! (I'm also so in love with her outfit!!) And Adele has nothing to worry about. There are SO MANY kinds of beautiful and they each are GORGEOUS in their own way. Maybe they could become the hottest new bffs of 2013. ;) Then they could flex together and knock 'em out. Oh, and I must add how excited I am that you are going to take more pictures of your impressive collection! *Cheers to the new year and all the joyous potential it has!*

I was talked into going to Englishtown (flea market) and boy am I glad I went. I wasn't enthusiastic at first since we were leaving  after noon which means all the good stuff is usually gone. I didn't take a ton of money but for about $20 I found some goodies I'm proud of.  My 1st find of the day I picked up the Sophie & two NFL Jerseys for $3. I love LIV bodies for body swaps. Those jerseys will come in handy for either the ladies or a couple of guys. Next find I up 3 dolls and 2 books (not pictured) for $6. Not sure which Christie's or Teresa this is. I decided to answer Ms. Leo interview questions from   I Luv Dolls . Give it a try I'm interested in your answers too When did you start collecting dolls? Oddly enough I didn't start collecting dolls until my late 20's. My brothers had action figures (Star Wars, GI Joe). What was your first purchase as a collector ? My 1st purchase was Kelly Barbie's littlest sister in her crib. I guess we can say I loved the littlest one (at the time) first. How many dolls do you own? Really not sure at this point but figure I have over 300 Kelly & friends. My Fashion Royalty collection is about 130 - 150 at this point (I haven't inventoried lately). I'm pretty sure Barbie & friends is about 350 or more (remember haven't inventoried in a while). Creatable World Takeover

Has anyone noticed that Mattel's Creatable World has taken over? Well, I certainly have. So much so that I now own five of their deluxe packages that includes a doll.  They now have single doll packs, deluxe clothing packs, single clothing packs, and wigs too. The deluxe clothing packs have variations from the deluxe packages that includes a doll.  The eight deluxe doll sets Single clothing packs  Deluxe clothes pack  Deluxe clothing pack  Deluxe clothing pack  They have been spotted at Target so far. They may be at Wal-Mart too. I'm not sure.  Have you been seduced by Creatable World?
